Mar Cuadrado, new Vice-Dean of Students, and Ladislao Campo, new General Manager of the School of Medicine.

The president has appointed Mar Cuadrado as Vice-Dean of Students of the School of Medicine, replacing Alfredo Gea who becomes Associate Dean of Office of Academic Affairs, replacing Arantza Campo, who culminates her years of work in the board.

Mar Cuadrado-Tejedor has a degree in Pharmacy from the University of the Basque Country (1999) and a PhD in Pharmacy from our University (2003). Since 2018 she has been director of department of Pathology, Anatomy and Physiology. Professor since 2022, she teaches teaching at the area of Anatomy in the Schools of Medicine and Pharmacy.

She is also a member of the Medical Education Unit and of the Steering Committee of the Integrated Curriculum. She has been working at research since 2005 in the Gene Therapy of Neurological Diseases Program at Cima , aimed at the study of neurodegenerative diseases, more specifically Alzheimer's disease. She is the author of more than 50 publications in high impact journals and four patents on therapeutic approaches for Alzheimer's disease.

The Dean, Marta Ferrer, thanked the work of Arantza Campo in the board directive of the School: "Arantza is, in large part, the manager of the academic changes that have taken place in the School of Medicine in recent years. With her discreet but constant work , she has managed to ensure that the Integrated Curriculum went ahead and did so precisely at a very complicated time for her specialization program, combining the radical change of the Study program with the attention of Covid, which fell especially on the department of Pneumology. In addition, he has been a key person in obtaining the international quality seal of the WFME (World Federation for Medical Education). Fortunately for all of us, from now on we will continue to count on her as director of the Clinical training Unit".

In addition, the president has appointed Ladislao Campo, General Manager of the School of Medicine, to replace José Miguel Fernández who is rejoining the Clinic's area of development as a director.

Ladislao Campo Castillo is graduate and holds a PhD in Law from the University (1997 and 2022) and Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from San Pablo CEU University (1999). In 2016 he completed the PDD (Programa de development Directivo) at IESE. During the period 1999 and 2009 he worked in Madrid and Pamplona in the legal and business sector. Since joining the University in 2009 she has developed her work in the School of Medicine, in the Finance and Administration Office and Purchansing Service, of which she was Deputy Director from 2013 to 2016. Since 2016 she has been General Manager of the School of Nursing.

Marta Ferrer wanted to thank José Miguel Fernández for his work during the last four years at School: "I would like to highlight José Miguel's dedication and skill to support all the internal processes during the last few years, which were especially intense due to the change of curriculum. His ability to remain calm, sensible and down-to-earth has been fundamental to effectively shape the future of School. In addition, I believe that we have all learned from his constant availability , his generosity and his attention kindness to everyone".

Thus, the board of the School of Medicine is formed by:
