Rodrigo Sánchez Bayona has obtained the award Extraordinary End of degree program of the School of Medicine of the University of Navarra. The graduate is in Oviedo preparing for the spanish medical residency program exam that will take place next January.
"I feel satisfied to have received this award and also happy for all the people who have supported me in my time at the University and who trusted and bet on me. My family, my tutor my doctor Jesús Pueyo,...", explained the Navarrese who hopes to be able to dedicate himself to the specialization program of Medical Oncology, "although I still do not know where I will do the residency program".
According to him, "from my time at university , I will keep the patients and stories I have met because they have made me learn". "Medicine is undoubtedly a degree program background, but the goal is worth it," he added.
Finally, he explained that the secret to success is to study from day one. "I would tell first-year students to enjoy themselves, because time goes by very quickly. In my case, I can say that I kept the same illusion from the first day I stepped on the School until I graduated."
