The founder of the clothing and footwear brand El Ganso, Clemente Cebrián, has participated in the events celebrating the patron saint of the School of Economics of the University of Navarra, San Vicente Ferrer. The students have attended a lecture in which the entrepreneur told his story and his experience at the head of the fashion signature . Clemente, together with his brother Álvaro, both Business Studies students, decided to leave their respective jobs to create El Ganso, an idea they had in their heads since they were very young.

"My brother and I used to go to London in the summers to learn English. There we realized that there were different clothes, clothes that we could find in other cities but that we didn't usually see in Spain," Clemente explained. When they returned from London they considered creating a different clothing brand, but had to put aside project due to lack of support. However, years later, when Christmas was approaching, Clemente wanted to buy a coat with specific characteristics, something that cost him a lot work. It was then that he reconsidered the idea of creating a signature that would offer different clothes, so he talked to his brother Álvaro.

"We realized that in Spain there was no brand that offered young people, between 20 and 30 years old, attractive clothes with a different design . That's why we decided to undertake this project", said the founder. They ended up leaving their work jobs to create El Ganso, a 100 percent family-ownedsignature . "Everyone told us we were crazy when we told them about our idea," he said.

Although they are clothing and footwear with a clearly London style, this Spanish signature has managed to diversify the business and expand it to other continents: they are now entering Mexico, but Clemente recognizes that one of their objectives is the Asian market, more specifically in China.

Both brothers agree with agreement that El Ganso should be a business with a future perspective, and they don't want it to remain just a brand that is fashionable at the moment. "Our clothes change every season, but they have a very clear style," Clemente acknowledges. The founder of this well-known brand believes that an entrepreneur is made by the work that is made, and says that his real success is to have been able to create so many jobs work. Clemente explained his challenge staff: to never lose the essence of the brand. "We have many challenges to achieve and a tremendous road ahead of us. We want to make it a success story, but a human success story," concluded Cebrián.
