International students account for 17% of the academic center's total student body
1,670 international students from 74 countries are studying at the University of Navarra this academic year. Of these, 636 are enrolled in programs of study of Degree, 332 in Master's Degree, 265 in doctorate and 437 belong to programs of exchange.
This figure, which includes data from campus in Pamplona and San Sebastian, represents 17% of the total student body . The countries with the most students include Ecuador (201), Peru (123), Mexico (122) and Colombia (78).
Of the 437 students at exchange - including data from the first semester- 194 belong to Erasmus programs and 243 to other types of exchanges. The students come from countries such as the USA, Canada, China, Italy, Germany, the UK, Morocco, Russia, Finland, Iceland, Australia, Denmark, Peru, Mexico, Japan, Estonia and Sweden.
Of the Schools, the Ecclesiastics is the one with the most international students (243). It is followed by School Communication (157), Economics (137), Law (113), Philosophy (107), Architecture (73), Tecnun Engineering School (72), Medicine (67), Science (63), Education (51) and Pharmacy (50).
Campus of IESEIESE' s campus -Madrid and Barcelona- has471 internationalstudents. With this figure, the percentage of foreign student body students is 20.2 percent.
The University of Navarra celebrated the workshop to welcome the international students who started their programs of study in the second semester. At the meeting there were various activities to introduce them to the University and the services it offers: libraries, study rooms, sports, computer rooms, use of Wi-Fi or support systems at teaching such as ADI, etc.; as well as to help them resolve doubts that may arise in their first days in the city (how to open a bank account, contract Internet, purchase a mobile, etc.).
