Two University projects, Best Pharmacy Initiatives 2014.

The "Nutrigenetic Comprehensive Health Service" and "Our Greatest Care" programs of the School Pharmacy receive awards from the trade press.

The projects"Servicio nutrigenético de salud integral" and"Nuestra mayor atención" of the School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra have received the award to 'Las Mejores Iniciativas de la Farmacia de 2014' (The Best Pharmacy Initiatives of 2014). This award is awarded each year by Correo Farmacéutico, one of the most widely distributed publications among the sector's professions, to recognize the ideas, programs and experiences that contribute to the improvement of the world of pharmacy, pharmaceutical care and health throughout 2014.

The "Nutrigenetic integral health service" program offers the possibility, from the pharmacy, of personalizing diets according to a person's genetic profile and nutritional needs. The initiative, directed by Alfredo Martínez, Full Professor of Nutrition, is the result of the partnership between research center in Nutrition of the University of Navarra and Cinfa.

"Our greatest care", awarded in the section of training, is a degree scroll in 'Expert in aging and pharmacotherapy' aimed at pharmacists acquiring specific knowledge in the care of elderly and polymedicated people. This program, coordinated by Professor Berta Lasheras, is developed from the department of Pharmacology together with the high school of training COFARES
