The Forum for Sport and Society is constituted, on the initiative of several Navarrese entities.
The Forum is promoted by the University's Olympic Center programs of study , Anaccolde, Aedona and Radio Marca.
The University, Aedona, Anaccolde and Radio Marca have launched the Sports and Society Forum, at partnership with the Miguel Induráin Foundation and the Hotel Muga de Beloso, among others.
The Forum, sponsored by Caixa Bank, aims to be a point of meeting that favors the dialogue of the main sports agents of the Comunidad Foral, generates proposals for improvement and promotes good relations between people related to sport. The speakers will present a current sports topic , to give way to a colloquium where attendees can intervene.
The first session took place last Tuesday, May 24, at 7:30 p.m., at the Muga Hotel in Beloso. Under the degree scroll "Spanish sport before the challenge of Rio 2016", Alejandro Blanco, president of the Spanish Olympiccommittee , chaired the meeting. The talk was presented by Juan Ignacio Gallardo, director of Diario Marca.
On a quarterly basis, the Forum is open to representatives of federations, clubs, associations, the media, athletes and government personalities, upon invitation.
