BIC Gipuzkoa boosts project SearchYourGut with 50.000 € for the development of a functional prototype

Biomedical Engineering Centre
Dr. Jacobo Paredes, from TECNUN's department Biomedical Engineering, at partnership with the BioMEMS Unit at CEIT-IK4 and the Clínica Universidad de Navarra are developing a project aimed at better understanding the role of microbiota in human health.
This project brings together professionals from the fields of medicine (specifically endocrinology, digestive and microbiology) and engineering (in the areas of polymers, microfluidics, design mechanical and tissue engineering). To this end, the Business Innovation Center of Gipuzkoa has granted 50,000 euros for the development of a functional prototype.
