The journalist Helena Resano participated in a talk- colloquium with the students of the School of Communication of the University of Navarra, where she graduated. Her intervention was part of the commemoration of the day of the patron saint, St. Francis de Sales. According to what he confessed, presenting Telediario 2 (TVE) sometimes causes him a certain vertigo: "I never think that I am going to speak in front of millions of viewers, only that I am in front of a camera".

The presenter stressed the importance of the initiative for a future communicator because "the media demands people with new ideas". She also spoke of the need to "cultivate oneself", which also means keeping oneself informed of current affairs at all times. According to the journalist, the ability to work as part of a team, humility and interest in knowing what surrounds us are traits that define a good communicator. "You have to be passionate about your work in such a way that you are always looking for possible reports. Journalism is a way of life," she told the students.

Information, a reflection of life

Helena Resano pointed out that information should be a reflection of life, which does not mean that it should be full of anecdotal facts. She stressed the need to take a serious point of view before any news subject . This journalist studied Audiovisual Communication at the University of Navarra ( programs of study ). She began working at Cadena SER, then presented a variety program at Pamplona Televisión and a year later moved to Madrid with a scholarship for Radio España. In 1996 he joined Telecinco and three years later he joined the team of Televisión Española. There he worked at Canal 24 horas and Telediario Segunda Edición.
