University students meet with female executives at conference about women in the business
A group students from the University of Navarra met in Madrid with various executives and businesswomen during a series of conference by the School of Science and Economics, high school Mayor , and the business of Navarra business Foundation.
The meetings addressed the topic of the role of women at business and the reconciliation of work and family life. Some of the professionals who gave the sessions were: Pilar Gómez Acebo, president of FEDEPE (Spanish Federation of Women Managers, Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs); Isabel Linares, deputy general manager of Sanitas; Blanca Gómez, director of Human Resources at Coca-Cola; Pola Iglesias, director of fashion fairs at IFEMA; Carmen Pérez-Llorca, founding partner of Altanos; and Eva Levy, director of marketing and communication at Atos Origin.
Among the students who attended the conference were: Laura Clavijo and Teresa Duart, from 1st year of LADE; Leire Alonso Vicinay, Tere Ballester, Dulce Redín and Esther Villa, from 2nd year of bilingual LADE; Ana Freire, Esther López-Quesada and Cecilia Ruiz de Velasco, from 3rd year of LADE; Virginia López Quero, from 3rd year of Economics and Law; and Roberta Bueso, from 1st year of Liberal Arts.
