In December, the University of Navarra's School of Architecture hosted the first meeting project RADIACOOL research project , "development validation of a new generation of radiative cooling modules for Buildingfacades." The goal this initiative is to transform urban energy efficiency through the development facade modules based on radiative cooling.

In the current context, the energy requirement for cooling in buildings and industrial processes is on the rise. In line with this reality, the project seeks to replace the energy used with innovative solutions that are passive or require very little energy.

"The core topic the synergy between the geometry of module the spectrally selective coating that helps maximize heat dissipation," explains Amaia Zuazua, professor and researcher at the University of Navarra.

The project researchers from the University of Navarra, Lurederra Technology Center, and I2con, in partnership the companies Obras y servicios Tex, Tecnan, Alu-stock, and Integra Ingeniería.
