group is contributing 500,000 euros to the BIOMA Center

Construction on this new facility dedicated to research, teaching the knowledge dissemination began last January

This contribution from the business provides a boost to this project, which combines research biodiversity and the environment, teaching, sustainability, and knowledge dissemination scientific knowledge dissemination . 

The university hosted the signature agreement, which was signed by Natalia Oliver, Director of Corporate Reputation and ESG and Coordinator at the Enhol Foundation, and Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, President of association . The University of Navarra will honor this contribution by naming a space in the new building, construction of which began last January.

president María Iraburu praised the contribution made by group , emphasizing that "the support of organizations that share the institution's vision is what allows us to turn ideas into real impact on society." In this regard, she noted that, thanks to this support, "the University will contribute to sustainability and the environment through science and with a approach , open to discussion dialogue with other disciplines." 

For his part, Sánchez-Tabernero emphasized the importance of the companies and institutions that support the project: "The University moves forward thanks to its friends. Without the commitment of the business community, the major academic and research transformations it promotes would not be possible." 

Natalia Oliver, in turn, noted: "The transition to a model sustainable model requires innovation, knowledge talent. That is why we are excited to be part of a project promotes research, training generations, and seeks solutions to some of the major environmental challenges of our time."

A space for teaching, investigation and science dissemination

Designed by Navarran architect Patxi Mangado, the BIOMA Center is a project combines knowledge dissemination and scientific research, training knowledge dissemination in a single space of over 20,500 m². Built next to Cima, the building—which will be the largest campus Navarra campus in Pamplona—will dedicate one-third of its space to teaching, another third to research , and the remaining third to the Science Museum and knowledge dissemination activities. In addition, the new building will also house the Innovation Factory, whose purpose to promote entrepreneurship and innovation.
