Outstanding Participation and Awards for the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the 5th workshop faculty Nutrition faculty

The School of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Navarra played a leading role in the 5th workshop for faculty Members faculty Degree Human Nutrition and Dietetics, organized by the lecture of Deans of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, which took place at the Complutense University of Madrid on June 4 and 5. The event not only served as a forum professor exchange experiences exchange professor innovation but also recognized the excellence of the institution’s faculty and students with several awards and prominent positions.
The professor delegation professor led by Professors Susana Santiago and Marta Cuervo, who each presented papers at separate roundtables. Professor Santiago, at the roundtable “Transversal roundtable in the Degree,” presented a discussion paper “Experiences with the test in the NHD Degree University of Navarra,” sharing the assessment methodology used by the School. For her part, Professor Cuervo participated in the roundtable on “National and International roundtable for mobility Cooperation” with the discussion paper “International Project in Nutrition: Integrating mobility and work in the Degree ,”sharing an experience of partnership spanning nearly 20 years.
In addition, Marta Cuervo received the second award best oral presentation at the workshop her work for knowledge dissemination College Counseling in Nutrition for High School Students.” This project, supported by the Institute of Nutrition and Health (INS) through its INS-DIVULGA call for proposals, was created to fill the educational gap experienced by ESO students after they finish their exams in June. As Cuervo explained, this program aims to combat nutritional misinformation spread by social media influencers through knowledge dissemination on scientific evidence.
Recognition of Young Talent: TFG Awards
The student body also achieved success in the Final Degree Projects Degree TFG) category. Lucía Belzunce won third award presenting her work, selected for the roundtable , graduate Impact of Culinary Techniques on the Estimation of Vitamin C Intake.” Likewise, Teresa Álvarez participated in the workshop her TFG as poster the degree scroll “From the Kitchen to Health: Healthy Eating Workshops for Immigrant Women in Villa Teresita.”
Institutional Tribute and Leadership
The conference a special ceremony honoring the 20th anniversary of the lecture, a core topic the degree program Spain. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Roncesvalles Garayoa of the Faculty, in her capacity as the current president of the lecture.
In this framework, the work of Adela López de Ceráin, former dean of the School, was recognized; she served position president position the lecture 2019 to 2024. Her involvement underscored the University of Navarra’s longstanding commitment and leadership in the development of nutrition at the national level.
This meeting made it clear that the Faculty not only leads knowledge dissemination responsible knowledge dissemination projects but also remains at the forefront ofprofessor training future professionals.
