The Spanish Association of Research Nurses ( School of Nursing ) is promoting the “Investigando te Cuido” initiative at project to raise awareness of the work of research nurses

The School of Nursing has launched the“Investigando te Cuido” (Caring Through Research)initiative ( project ), led by Hildegart González. This initiative was created to understand, raise awareness of, and highlight the role of the nurse researcher— profile core topic —a role that is still largely unknown to the general public. Through its new account at Instagram (@InvestigandoTeCuido), the platform will share research updates, clinical applications, and professional stories to bring the science of care closer to society and inspire young people to pursue scientific careers.

The “ project ” initiative aims to demonstrate that nursing is not merely a caregiving profession, but a science with the direct capacity to transform and optimize the healthcare system. “Nurses work closely with people and are able to identify patients’ true health needs,” explains Hildegart González. “Research means seeking better ways to care for, prevent, educate, and support patients in order to meet those needs.”

goal ’s mission is to give nurses a voice and encourage them to conduct research by leveraging their day-to-day proximity to patients. Most of the programs of study led by this group address real-world problems, ensuring that their findings are immediately applied in healthcare. This solidifies research as a fundamental pathway toward a safer, more effective, and more humane attendance .

Likewise, the Spanish Association of Nursing Research ( proposal ) seeks to convey that, despite being a little-known role in Spain, the scientific nursing “ work ” has a direct impact on social well-being and the prestige of the profession.“When a nurse conducts research, she generates knowledge to provide better care; and when she shares that knowledge, financial aid society to understand it, value it, and participate in it,” concludes González. “Research is also a form of care.”
