School of Nursing, award ABC Salud, through its Humanization project

The“Course on Humanizing Health Care,”developed by the School of Nursing in collaboration with Fundación Humans and Merck, has been recognized in the Nursing “ project ” category. In an increasingly technologized healthcare environment, keeping the person at the center of care is a strategic “ challenge .” Through this “ purpose,” the “ School of Nursing ” at the University of Navarra, in “ partnership ” with Fundación Humans and Merck, has developed this program aimed at professionals from various regional health services.
The course has already been offered once to professionals from the Aragon Health Service and once to those from the Murcia Health Service. A new session for the Extremadura Health Service will begin on October 5.
The initiative aims to promote more humane healthcare environments and integrate person-centered care into real-world clinical settings, positioning nursing professionals as agents of change. The University of Navarra has also contributed to the program’s development School of Medicine University of Navarra, contributing its expertise and knowledge to project.
project has been awarded the ABC Salud 2026 “award ” in the “ project ” in Nursing” category. The award ceremony ( submission ) will take place on October 7 at 7:30 p.m. at ABC’s headquarters in Madrid.
