The University's " School of Nursing " will host the INKA 2027 International " congress "

The School of Nursing University of Navarra will host the Internationalcongress , organized by the International Nursing Knowledge Association (INKA, formerly NANDA International). The event will serve as a premier platform for meeting s among professionals, educators, and researchers in the field of nursing from around the world, promoting scientific dissemination and interdisciplinary exchange .

This international “ quotation ” will mark the first time this scientific forum has been hosted in Spain, reaffirming the Faculty’s commitment to leadership in the profession on the international stage.

Ana Choperena, dean of the Faculty, highlighted the trust placed in INKA by choosing a venue “capable of hosting a demanding scientific congress and, at the same time, bringing its own voice to the discussion.” She also noted that “a scientific congress is organized based on prestige, but also on partnership.”

NANDA 360: Integration and Evidence at the Heart of Clinical Reasoning
One of the program’s central themes will be the NANDA 360 “ project .” Following its pilot phase in 2026 and its official launch scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, the “ quotation ” in Pamplona will serve as the first major international “ meeting ” to discuss its implementation.

NANDA 360 aims to integrate the evaluation, the diagnosis (NANDA-I), the expected outcomes (NOC), and the interventions (NIC) into a single source at knowledge . It is also designed to interact seamlessly with electronic health records and with interoperable international standards such as SNOMED CT.
