Mª Carmen Nepote, María Camino Castiglione and Miren Sanado, students of the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra, studied the first semester of the fourth year at the University of Los Andes (Chile), thanks to the exchange agreement of students that both academic centers maintain.

Of their stay there, they highlight"the closeness of the professors and students and the academic quality of the school", where they studied the subjects: Community III, Evidence-Based Nursing, Ethics and Theology. They also did internships in a doctor's office and in a psychiatric center. The internship," they explain, "is very different from what we do at the University of Navarra. There, everything revolves around making a PAE: a nursing care process for both the patient and the family. This implies a more theoretical work , less assistance, but it was also useful for us to learn about the Chilean health system".

I would have loved to have been able to extend my stay in Chile for another six months, so I encourage other students to take advantage of this opportunity offered by the University to get to know another culture, other people, another method of study and work. At final, to continue to nurture their experience at a professional level and staff", he stresses.

To carry out the programs of study at the Universidad de Los Andes they received a scholarship Santander.
