The University of Navarra stands out in the areas of Social Sciences, one of the highest rated in the QS World University Rankings by Subject, which analyzes the world's leading universities by subject knowledge.

This ranking classifies universities on the basis of four indicators: academic reputation; opinion among employers; cited articles; and an index that makes it possible to evaluate the scientific production of researchers, simultaneously measuring the quality and quantity of publications, the H-index. 

The main sections, each of which covers different topics, are Arts and HumanitiesEngineering and Technology, Science and Medicine, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences.

The University of Navarra excels especially in eight areas: Accounting and Finance, Business and Management, and Communication, which are ranked between 51st and 100th positions; Philosophy and Law, which are located in the 101st-150th range; Pharmacy and Pharmacology, 151st-200th; and Medicine and EconomicsMedicine, both between positions 201-250 of the study.

In total, QS has evaluated 4,226 universities, although only 945 of them have entered the ranking.
