Participate as a Tantaka volunteer in the Gran Recogida of the Food Bank of Navarra.
The campaign, which will be held on May 29 and 30, aims to provide food to 38,000 people in the region.
Tantaka, the University's Solidarity Time Bank, is looking for volunteers to collaborate with the Great Collection organized by the Food Bank of Navarra on May 29 and 30. With the slogan "I eat, you eat, he eats... We eat, you eat, they..." the campaign aims to provide food to the 38,000 people served by this foundation throughout the region.
The Food Bank of Navarra has coordinated more than 250 collection points in different commercial areas throughout Navarra, for which they need 3,000 volunteers.
Three shifts have been established at each collection point: morning, noon and afternoon, of about four hours each. The approximate schedule for each shift would be: from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (morning), from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (noon), from 5 p.m. to closing time (afternoon). Each shift must be covered by two people.
Those interested in collaborating can fill out the formbefore Wednesday, May 27th. They will be able to indicate the preference of the shift and the collection point.
