AEDEMO donates its collection publishing house to School de Comunicación
The association Española de programs of study de Mercado, Marketing y Opinión donates its 530 volumes on programs of study de mercado to the School for its custody and management
position The Spanishassociation of programs of study of Market, Marketing and Opinion (AEDEMO) has donated its collection publishing house, composed of 530 books on research of Markets, to the School of Communication of the University of Navarra for its custody and management. In recent months, AEDEMO has been looking for a non-profit entity that could physically house the Library Services of the association.
The School of Communication showed its willingness through its professor Idoia Portilla, who actively participates in AEDEMO as president of its Ethicscommittee . The association approved the donation in April and the School has received the volumes these days. The subject of most of the books is research de Mercados, the activity that unites the members of AEDEMO, but among the titles that make up the collection there are also books on marketing, advertising, or management and management of companies. Of particular note are the books of conference proceedings of the seminars and congresses of AEDEMO (97 in total) and of the international society ESOMAR (176 books). As Portilla explains, these are "works that are difficult to obtain in other ways, and are of great interest to research and teaching". In the set of volumes there are some works from the late 50's and early 60's of the last century, but there are many more recent ones, up to the present day.
AEDEMO is the association of the Professionals that develop their activity in the research of Markets, Marketing and the programs of study of Opinion. The association was founded in 1968 and is currently made up of more than 1,000 members. Its fundamental goal is the diffusion and control of the techniques used in the Commercial research . AEDEMO's activities are developed in the fields of training, professional publications, services to members and international relations.
