The collection 'Persona y Cultura', of the University of Navarra, has published a new degree scroll, Educando para la igualdad (Educating for Equality). The author is María Calvo, professor of Administrative Law at the Carlos III University and president of the European Association Single Sex Education in Spain.

In the volume, Professor Calvo discusses the pedagogical model of the differentiated Education ; its academic, personal and socialization advantages; its scientific basis (biological differences between boys and girls, brain dimorphism...); school failure; and authority and discipline, among other topics.

María Calvo Charro is full professor of Administrative Law at Carlos III University and president of the European Association Single Sex Education (EASSE) in Spain. She is also a visiting researcher at Harvard University (Boston, USA) and visiting professor at the University of William and Mary (Virginia, USA). She has published several legal and educational monographs, such as Los niños con los niños; las niñas con las niñas. El derecho a una Education diferenciada; Niñas y niños, hombres y mujeres: iguales pero diferentes; Cerebro y Education; and guide para una Education diferenciada. Some of her works have been translated into English, Portuguese, Polish and Italian.
