The University, 37th in the world in employability, according to the Emerging ranking for Times Higher Education

The Navarre center repeats the same position of the previous year

The University of Navarra is the 37th best university in the world for employers, according to the GEURS 2023 ranking prepared by the consulting firm Emerging for Times Higher Education. The position of the center, which repeats with respect to last year, places it second in Spain in employability of the eight Spanish universities that appear in the ranking. Of these, only two have a place among the top 50, IE University and the University of Navarra.

The Emerging Employability Ranking has been compiled for the past thirteen years through surveys conducted directly with the managers of employment of international companies, in this edition a total of 11,560 in 40 countries. The respondents, according to the ranking, are responsible for more than 800,000 recruitments worldwide. Although more than 1,000 universities are voted on, only 250 are selected to appear in the ranking.  

According to Afonso Vericat, director of the Internship Service and employment of the University of Navarra, "this result is equivalent to the quality attention and training that the University offers to all its students, which favors a quick and effective insertion into the labor market". "We try to transfer the best talent to society: professionals with values that we consider necessary for the economic and social development ," he adds.

3,110 traineeships and 2,929 work

During the 2022-2023 academic year, the Internship Service and employment processed 3,110 internships for students and graduates in more than 1,400 companies; and during the year 2022 and so far in 2023 a total of 2,929 vacancies for employment have been offered on the University's Portal .

In addition, the Service, together with the Schools, delivered more than 200 training sessions and workshops on development professional topics and organized 26 events related to employment. "In 2022 we offered more than 2,500 orientations to students and graduates, and in 2023, almost 2,800. Personalized attention to students and companies is one of our pillars," explains Alfonso Vericat.
