Last April 20, the traditional Sports Gala 2018 took place. This edition began with a performance by the Esther Amorós dance school and also featured performances by Luis Huici, student of the University and member of the Sports Talent Programand the Magician Numis.

Among the special awards that were presented was the honorary scholarship that went to the former President, Mr. Francisco Ponz. During his years as President he dedicated part of his efforts to promote sports and has been an example of sports internship playing tennis until he was 90 years old.

The School of Architecture received the award of absolute champion of the Trophy President. The best senior high school was Goimendi and the School and high school with the most participants were Economicas and Larraona respectively.

During the gala, submission awards were given to the athletes who are finishing their programs of study at the University and who have represented the University in different sports during these years. Also the promising young sportsmen and women who participate in the sports schools received their awards.
