Last Tuesday, the School of Economics celebrated the closing ceremony of the 2017 IESE Program, in which a total of 51 students have participated for six months in the teaching and activities of the Madrid headquarters of this business school.

Ricardo Forcano, Head of Talent & Culture at BBVA, gave the academic session in which he recalled the three vital attitudes to face a world that "is changing exponentially and we do not know what it will be in 10 years". Forcano invited the students to adopt "curiosity, empathy and integrity" as vital attitudes, as well as "compasses" on which to base themselves in the future.

The executive also encouraged the students to work with talent "seeing those around us as people with the ability to add value"; excellence, "always looking for the work well done and taking care of the small details"; and balance "between the staff, professional and social self: take care of your body and your spirit".

Ignacio Ferrero, Dean of the School, reminded the students that "this program is the culmination of what they have learned in Pamplona, in terms of knowledge, skills and values. He also encouraged them to look back on their time at the University with gratitude, and stressed the importance of living the present with passion and opening up to the future with confidence, knowing how to look at it with all its inner richness and joy.

Juan Antonio Galán, director associate of IESE Madrid; Ignacio Ferrero, Dean of School of Economics; and Ricardo Forcano, Head of Talent & Culture at BBVA, distributed diplomas to the students who completed the IESE Program.

Throughout this semester, the students of the Program have been in contact with a total of 15 companies; they have participated in 13 presentations of institutions from different sectors such as McKinsey, Oliver Wyman, PWC, Bain & Company, Arthur D Little, Accenture, Deloitte, Danone, Mondelez, BBVA, Abante Asesores, Becas ICEX or Iberia. They were also able to visit the offices of AT Kearney and Boston Consulting Group.
