The student of the Degree of Law and Bilingual ADE of the University of Navarra Santiago Baselga has been awa rded with the award to the best work Fin de Degree of internationalization 2017-2018, that grants the School Economics of the academic center. His project consisted of a study of the wine market in South Korea for the Navarre-based business Bodegas Olimpia de Cáseda. Marisa Poncela, the administrative office of State for Trade, was in charge of making him submission of the award, during a workshop on 'La internationalization en las PYMES'

Both Santiago Baselga and Berta Pérez de Ciriza, export and marketing director of Bodegas Olimpia, were satisfied with the experience. South Korea was the destination of the exchange that made the student during the first semester of this course and also a country goal for the winery. contact "When it comes to exporting wine, it is not a country in great demand and therefore doing this work with Santiago has been a good opportunity to have a first contact with the country," said Pérez de Ciriza. For student it has been a great opportunity to carry out this project, as it has been a way to apply everything learned during the degree program, as well as to help an SME and see that their analysis had result.

Before the student left for South Korea, Pérez de Ciriza met with him to visit the winery, learn about its operation and share his Philosophy. Once there, student was in charge of doing the fieldwork work and every two weeks they would meet to share their progress. Baselga states that "he went to Spanish restaurants to see what wine lists they offered and to large and small supermarkets to see what labeling the bottles had, how they were placed on the shelves and what their Spanish competitors were there".

Both Baselga and Pérez de Ciriza recommend this experience because for SMEs it is a way to encourage them to export without the need to have many economic resources and for student it is an advantage because it has to overcome the barrier of language and does not make a work End of Degree to use. To date, more than 77 companies have benefited from this program and, in the last five years, it has contributed to 204 projects in 34 different countries. The award consists of a discount on Master's Degree programs at the University and a laptop computer.
