Emotional culture and identity

Inés OlzaInés Olza intervened as a guest speaker in the first session of the online seminar 'Caring Discourse', organized by the group 'MetaCare' of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal). She presented the #ReframeCovid initiative (the recording can be viewed here) (18/5/2020). She was also speaker invited to the Conversatory "Uses and (dis)uses of language and discourses in the context of the pandemic by COVID-19", organized virtually by the high school Nacional de Antropología e Historia (Michoacán, Mexico). His discussion paper was degree scroll "How to tell a global pandemic: metaphorical narratives in conflict" (18/6/2020), and the recording can be viewed here. He also chaired the roundtable "#ReframeCovid: An open initiative to (re)think the metaphors used to talk about the pandemic", included as a plenary session of the 13th Conference of the Association for Researching and Applying Metaphor (RaAM 2020 Virtual; Hamar, Norway) (18-21/6/2020).
