The students of the II specialist program in Sports Law held last Friday, October 24, their first session internship. It was a session on Investment Funds and CAS. The students were able to listen to the discussion paper of Eduardo Sanz and Esther Gil, member of committee de Justicia Deportiva de Navarra, in which they talked about the current controversy about the investment funds of some athletes. This is a growing trend in Spain: more than 5% of the players in the LFP (Professional Football League) have their sports rights in investment funds. After discussion paper it was the turn of the students to make their first internship on topic.

"Players who have their financial rights assigned to an investment fund are known as golden slaves, due to the fact that they must follow the rules imposed by the funds in terms of transfers of clubs, possible indications for match-fixing, etc.", with these words Mr. Eduardo Sanz, lawyer of the Pamplona Bar Association and member of the CEO's , addressed the students of the II in Sports Law. Eduardo Sanz, lawyer of the Very Illustrious high school of Lawyers of Pamplona and member of the committee advisor of the CEO, to the students of the II specialist program in Sports Law.
