233 students of the Schoolscience programme graduated on 22 May.

This year the students who finished the degree programin 2020 and 2021 are graduate.

233 students of the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra celebrated their graduation last Saturday, May 22. This year was a special event as it brought together students who finished last year -and who could not celebrate because of the status pandemic- and those who have completed their programs of study during this academic year.  

The event began on Friday 21 with the Holy Mass at chapel of Sciences Building and a floral offering to the Virgin of Amor Hermoso at Shrine of Our Lady of Fair Love of campus. The academic events took place one day later, on Saturday, May 22, in the auditorium of the Museum of the University of Navarra.


Luis Montuenga, Dean of the School, opened the two graduation ceremonies. 

At 10 a.m., the celebration began with the 119 students who have finished degree program in the year 2021 (71 of the XXVI of Biochemistry ; 26 of the LV of Biology and 22 of XXIII of Chemistry) with the participation of Dean Luis Montuenga, the course delegates -NaroaLegarra, María Valencia and Santiago Tarrafeta-, subdelegates, and the sponsor of the promotion, Professor José Luis Vizmanos.

At 1 p.m. it was the turn of the class of 2020, with a total of 114 students (65 from the XXV of Biochemistry ; 25 from the LIV of Biology; 17 from the XXII of Chemistry and 7 from the II of Environmental Sciences). The ceremony was opened by Dean and was attended by the course delegates -NuriaPeregrín, Carlos Vicente Cordero, Irene Otamendi and Juan Manuel Menta-, sub-delegates, and the sponsor of the graduating class, Dr. José Leiva.

Both graduations took place in the auditorium of the Museum of the University of Navarra and were attended only by attendance , by status health, students and professors. Family and friends were able to follow the event on the YouTube channel of the School of Sciences(Class of 2019-2020 and Class of 2020-2021).
