The joint Executive Ll.M. program of the Portuguese business school Aese and the University of Navarra starts up

Portugal's leading business school, Aeseand the University of Navarra have launched this year a joint program of postgraduate program in Law and management for lawyers with professional experience who want to develop their legal knowledge in the areas of management economic and business law.

António Gaspar, director of the Executive LL.M. Program, explains that the training will be "internship and rigorous", always supported by "solid ethical values" and the "professional experience" of the students. The program is aimed at reinforcing the knowledge of legal services team leadership at business.

partnership The Aese School has been training business leaders and managers in Portugal for more than 32 years, and this program begins a partnership with the University of Navarra's Law School School "which will ensure the quality of the program's legal content", in Gaspar's words. The academic director of the program will be Manuel Ángel López, Full Professor of Commercial Law.

The first class is made up of 20 students, who will attend the program in 'executive' format -Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings, so that it is compatible with the professional internship - for 15 months: contents until June 2014 plus a final work .

Although the program is mainly held in the Portuguese capital, it includes a week of intensive training at campus in Pamplona of the University of Navarra.

The director of development of the School Law School, Javier Ortega, highlights the interest for the University of Navarra to offer its programs of study in the Portuguese market, where the law firms of reference letter also operate in Spain. With this initiative, the School trains lawyers in the places where they work. "We accompany law firms in their international expansion," he explains.
