The Archbishop of Pamplona, Francisco Pérez, welcomed with a Eucharistic concelebration the priests who are studying this year at the Schools Ecclesiastical of the University of Navarra. Fifty priests of 20 different nationalities participated.

Bishop Francisco Perez annually convokes the priests who are in Pamplona for study purposes, as a sign of welcome and communion in the Diocese. On this occasion the celebration took place on Saturday, October 22, feast of St. John Paul II, in the chapel of San Fermin in the parish of San Lorenzo.

During the homily, the Archbishop encouraged priests, following the example of St. John Paul II, to always be very united to Jesus in the Eucharist, and to always accept the cross, "but not an empty cross, but one filled with Christ".

Javier Leoz, the parish priest of San Lorenzo, greeted the priests before the end of the celebration and afterwards the concelebrants shared an aperitif with the Archbishop in the church premises.
