Seventeen students from the University of Navarra have been ordained deacons by Archbishop Francisco Pérez González, Archbishop of Pamplona. The ceremony took place on Saturday, April 24, in the church of San Nicolás.

The orderly were: José Ruy Corr?a Júnior (Brazil), Gleison Lima da Silva (Brazil), Ramiro Barreto Gutiérrez (Colombia), Jhonatan Adrian López Meneses (Ecuador), Frederick Lacroa Rafael (Philippines), Nonoy Paciano Mapayo (Philippines), Rómulo Espina Jr. Zaldarriaga (Philippines), Omar Alejandro Rodriguez Felix (Mexico), Jaime Homero Portillo Gill (Mexico), Erles Garcia Castro (Mexico), Yamil Armando Rodriguez Machado (Mexico), Andres Sanchez Ramirez (Mexico), Eugenio Oscco Yauris (Peru), Yosep Guzman Salvatierra (Peru), Francis George (India), Edud Joel Cornejo Llamoca (Peru) and Bruceli Benito Ala Gordillo (Peru).

The new young deacons have been residing for some years at high school Bidasoa International Ecclesiastical Center (Barañáin, Pamplona).
