Students from the University of Navarra have organised the first congress to promote wine culture among young people. Under the title degree scroll Aprendiendo a amar el vino, the quotation will take place at the Amigos Building and the Museum of the University of Navarra, between 3 and 26 February, and will bring together the main national exponents of the world of wine.

It is a meeting, organised by students and aimed at a young audience, whose goal is to transmit wine culture through six sessions that will address the phenomenon of wine from different perspectives. During each of the talks, attendees will be able to enjoy a tasting of the main wines from the wineries.

"We want to transmit that wine is an art, that it is a way of life, that it is culture and to emphasise that it has a long process of creation", explain the organisers of congress. "We understand the world of wine as a process of creating a precious work of art", they add.

"Wine speaks to you

The president of Bodegas Emilio Moro, José Moro, will be in charge of opening the congress, on 3 February, with his session "If you know how to listen, wine speaks to you", where he will talk about his experience as a winemaker and the importance of innovation in the sector.

The programme is completed by Eduardo Muga, director sales representative of Bodegas Muga; Sergio Aja, director from Calcco; Javier Bañales, director from Bodegas Martínez Lacuesta; Juan Miguel and Mariluz Tolosa, CEO and General Manager of Pago de la Familia Vega Tolosa, and Antonio Menéndez, director general manager of Tempos Vega Sicilia.
