School of Canon Law

Professor Juan J. Guardia has published the article "La tutela de los derechos fundamentales en el derecho urbanístico balear: a purpose de la sostenibilidad cultural-religiosa" in "Revista Jurídica de les Illes Balears", 12, pp. 169-202.

 

The Dean of the School, Professor Antonio Viana participated in the XXIX conference of the association Chilean Canon Law. Pontificio seminar Mayor San Rafael. Lo Vásquez-Diocese of Valparaíso. Chile. June 7 -11, 2014.

Professor Pedro Juan Viladrich gave the sessions: "Five lessons on values and virtues in family love" and "Structure and dynamics of conjugal love. Main keys" in the classroom course of the Master of Marriage and Family of the ICF. Pamplona, June 4 and 5. "The art of knowing how to love" at Campus Tomás Moro. June 20.

 

School of Theology

Professor José Ángel García Cuadrado participated in a workshop of the Línea Especial de pensamiento clásico español with the degree scroll: "Perspectivas del De legibus de Francisco Suárez" which is part of a series of activities in preparation for the centenary of the death of this author (2017). University of Navarra, June 20.

The Visiting Professor Leon Elders participated in the annual session of the Pontifical Academy of St. Thomas in Rome, June 20-22. He was also present at the meeting study of the Social Doctrine of the Church. Zentralstelle für kirchl.Soziallehre, Mönchen-Gladbach. Germany, June 27-28.

Professor Gregorio Guitián participated with the presentation 'Mediating by serving: a view of the business firm inspired in Catholic Social Teaching' in the European Business Ethics Network Annual Conference: 'Business Ethics in a European Perspective: A Case for Unity in Diversity?'. European School of Management and Technology. Berlin, June 12-14. Also attended the 18th International Symposium on Ethics, Business and Society: Ethics in Accounting, Finance, and Banking, held at IESE. Barcelona, June 30-July 1.

Professor Pedro Rodriguez participated in the Plenary of the Pontifical Academy of St. Thomas, on the topic "The Beatitudes, Christ's program in every time and culture" with the discussion paper: "The poor and the Kingdom of God". Rome, June 20-22.

Professor Javier Sánchez-Cañizares has published the article: 'The role of consciousness in triggering intellectual habits' in the journal 'Frontiers in Human Neuroscience'.
