The Vice Chancellor of the University, Ignacio Barrera, has appointed Santiago Collado Dean of the School Eclesiastic Philosophy. He replaces Professor Sergio Sánchez-Migallón at position , who will continue with his work professor and research.

Santiago Collado is graduate in Physical Sciences (1982) from the University of Granada; and graduate (1996) and PhD (1999) in Philosophy from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, where he also taught teaching in the theory of knowledge.

Since 2000, he has been a teacher of Philosophy of nature and of subjects related to the dialogue between faith and science, scientific cosmovision and metaphysics at different Schools and centres.

He currently directs the group 'Science, Reason and Faith' (CRYF), of which he is co-founder (2003) and where he has held the posts of secretary (2003-07) and Deputy Director (2007-22).
