"The essence and values of ISSA take on greater value in today's world."

Some thirty alumni from ISSA School of Applied Management participate in the meeting Alumni in San Sebastian.

"Twenty-five years have passed, but the essence and values that we have been fortunate to know through the work of the University remain and take on greater value in today's world. Professional life and staff are communicating vessels and this training, together with the Education of our parents, permeates all areas of our lives." With these words Isabel García-Morato, representing the students of the class that completed their programs of study at ISSA in 1998, expressed her gratitude for all they had learned during their university years. She did so in an unbeatable framework , the high school Mayor Jaizkibel, the former headquarters of ISSA in San Sebastian, where on Saturday, June 17, the annual graduates' meeting was held.

In his speech he praised the profile of the graduates of the academic center and emphasized the value they have in the world of business both for their academic and human training : "It is an honor to see how new generations of ISSA come to our companies and continue to defend the name with a delicate, demanding and unique professional quality". He also recalled the entire staff of ISSA, the academic staff, the directors of his promotion Begoña Taus and Mar Araluce, the priests who accompanied them those years, and especially Professor Leticia Bañares, who passed away in September 2019.

The meeting was attended by about thirty people between alumni, teachers and staff of the academic center. Although special tribute was paid to the class of 1998, the graduating classes of 1968, 1973, 1978, 1978, 1983, 1983, 1988, 1988, 1993, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008 and 2013 were also invited.

The workshop began with the celebration of the Holy Mass by Don Rafael Hernández, chaplain of the center until the headquarters moved to Pamplona; it continued with the intervention of Antonio María Fernández, director of development of ISSA School of Applied Management, who made a tour of the history of the academic center, from its origins to the present. Mari Carmen Erviti, deputy director of academic staff and Office of Academic Affairs, also participated and presented the new academic proposal and the new profile for graduates of Degree in management Applied - Applied Management. The meeting concluded with the presentation of graduation sashes of honor to the graduating class of 1998 and the traditional photo of group on the terrace of the building.
