The Master's Degree University in Architectural Theory and design , among the best programs in the world according to the BAM 2020 Ranking.
Ranked 14th out of 29 selected programs offered by universities worldwide in the current edition of the QS Rankings.
The Master's Degree University in Architectural Theory and design (MTDA) of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra -which this year will celebrate its 20th edition issue - has been selected in the group of the best programs by the Best Architecture Master's Ranking (BAM). This platform of Education in Architecture is made up of universities from the five continents and its purpose is to inform students and architects about the profession from an academic perspective.
In this 2020 edition, the best architecture schools in the world included as such in the QS Rankings have been selected. They have also taken into account other rankings, such as the Design Intelligence Ranking or The Guardian University Guide.
In total, 29 programs Master's Degree from universities around the world have been selected for the BAM 2020 Ranking, chosen by an expert committee made up of 19 professors from some of the most prestigious centers. As stated on their website, the approach of these experts allows them to "make an international comparative study that results in a list of the best programs Master's Degree worldwide".
The Master's Degree University in Architectural Theory and design (MTDA) is ranked 14th in a ranking headed by the Master's Degree in Architecture of Harvard University (USA) and in which only one other Spanish program appears, the Master's Degree of Advanced Studies in Collective Housing (MCH), of the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the ETH Zurich, in third place among the top 15.
The MTDA of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra already appeared in the last edition of this ranking and did so in the same position as now, the issue 14. On its website, the organizers value that "The University Master's Degree in Architectural Theory and design allows the student to achieve excellence in the design of architectural projects and deepen in the different currents of architectural thought, all guaranteed by a academic staff of high academic and professional level".
