On October 26, the University of Navarra's NursingSchool held its annual Alumnimeeting at campus in Madrid. 41 people participated in the meeting which included welcoming remarks by the dean of the School, Ana Choperena, who said that "we want to be closer to you, so we are here in Madrid to tell you about our news and share them with you".

These new developments were reported by the development team of the School, represented by its director Paz Ugalde, accompanied by Clara Cabrera, coordinator of Alumni and International Relations, and Jokin Sanchez, coordinator Employability and training Continua. "We have been listening to you for some years now," Ugalde began, "so this year we have a very new commitment to training de continua, because we want our slogan "Never stop learning" to become a reality and we want to bring it here, to Madrid". It is in this proximity where Cabrera assured that "we encourage you to participate in all our activities and to tell us about your interests, because the degree program does not end with the Degree, the School will always be in your professional path even if you are no longer in the classrooms of Pamplona".

For his part, the manager of training Continua explained what this commitment to lifelong learning for this 2023/2024 course consisted of: "we have two blocks of training that have emerged as a result of having listened to you. Firstly, a block of professional competencies on communication and decision making, motivation, leadership and management of teams. And a second block on self-care, an area in which you have asked us for a lot". These courses at training will begin in November(Public Speaking on November 7 and Motivation, Leadership and Team Building on November 17). "They will be taught by professionals in communication, health and management. Relevant people with whom we have counted to give you the training that you have demanded and that anyone can sign up, whether alumni or not," added Sanchez.

I have been at attendance for many years and now what?

Then, Paz Ugalde moderated a colloquium with Mercedes Luco (ENF 11) and Mónica Sangrador (ENF 98), former students, who reviewed their professional experience, giving advice on how not to stagnate. During my first years at work, I started in the operating rooms," said Sangrador, "I did not have time to train in the academics for personal reasons, but they gave me the opportunity to learn and consolidate my experience in this area". Luco assured that "our profession evolves a lot. You always have many new things to learn. It depends on the attitude you have to improve yourself.
