Carmen Urpí, new Vice-Dean of Students at School of Education and Psychology

The president, María Iraburu, has appointed Carmen Urpí as Vice-Dean of Students, replacing Elena Arbués.

Carmen Urpí has a bachelor's degree in Arts and a degree and doctorate in Pedagogy from the University. As a professor of Theory and History of the Education, she focuses her research in the aesthetic, artistic and patrimonial Education , from an integrating approach of different professional contexts, being her specialization program the plastic, visual and audiovisual arts. She is coordinator of group of research VOICES: Voices of Innovation and Creativity in the Education and Society. She is a member of the Ibero-American Society of Social Pedagogy (SIPS) and the International Center for Home Education Research. He has collaborated as a visiting scholar at the universities of Cambridge, Durham, Milan and Piura.

The Dean, Carolina Ugarte, thanks Professor Elena Arbués for "the work done during these years as Vice-Dean of Students of the School of Education and Psychology. In addition to her commitment to the projects of the School and her availability, it is especially worth mentioning her dedication to the training of the students and her close attention ".
