Javier Viñeta and Blanca Basanta have been elected respectively delegate and subdelegate of the University of Navarra. Representatives of the 15 Schools and schools of the University of Navarra participated in the voting.

Javier Viñeta is from Navarre and is in his second year of Philology and third year of Philosophy. He is also student intern department and is collaborating on a project Phonetics. He decided to run for student representative because he wants to learn how the committee operates: “I am willing to collaborate and contribute my time and skills,” says Viñeta. He also emphasized that this academic year, his work focus on bringing professors and students closer together, as well as helping students have a rich university experience through extracurricular activities.

Blanca Basanta has been elected as subdelegate. She is from Galicia and is studying 3rd year of Journalism. She has participated in the communication of Barabaiki, business social that seeks the promotion of new artists and reflection on art, and in the magazine Nuestro Tiempo.

His main motivation is to serve the students, to be able to integrate the different Schools and leave prejudices behind. Basanta wants the students "to know who we are. To understand that the knowledge is not unique, but belongs to everyone". Together with Viñeta, he shares the idea of bringing together the student life of the different Schools.

The 30 delegates and subdelegates of the Schools and schools of the University of Navarra are grouped under the name of 'Student Representation'. They meet every two months to make decisions about the objectives set at the beginning of the academic year, as well as the suggestions that come from the students. In addition, the delegate and subdelegate are part of the board of Government of the academic institution.
