The Clínica Universidad de Navarra remains among the best hospitals in the world in seven specialties, according to Newsweek's World's Best Specialized Hospitals 2022 ranking.

The Departments Oncology, Digestive and Neurology departments are among the 35 best in the world.

The Clínica Universidad de Navarra remains for the second consecutive year among the best hospitals in the world in 7 of the 10 specialties analysed by Newsweek's World's Best Specialized Hospitals 2022 ranking, which identifies the best healthcare institutions worldwide, both public and private hospitals.

Departments Thus, the Cardiology, Oncology, Endocrinology, Digestive, Neurology and Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology departments continue to be among the best in the world at specialization program. This year, the Clínica also appears in the Neurosurgery ranking, analysed by Newsweek for the first time in this edition.

Specifically, the Digestive department stands out as one of the 17 best hospitals in the world, Neurology is ranked 28th in its specialization program worldwide and Oncology 34th. In Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, the Clinic is ranked 40th, in Cardiology 62nd and in Endocrinology 121st.

In addition, both in Digestive and Neurology, the Clínica Universidad de Navarra remains, for the second year, as the best Spanish hospital.

Newsweek magazine publishes this ranking of the World's Best Specialized Hospitals with the aim of identifying the world's best health institutions. goal . To do so, it uses the methodology of Statista and the advice of a panel of experts including Professor David Bates (Harvard, USA), Dr. Gary Kaplan (Virginia Mason, USA), Dr. Eyal Zimlichman (Sheba Medical Center, Israel), Prof. Christoph A. Meier M.D. (University Hospital Basel, Switzerland), among others. The ranking is based on the participation of more than 40,000 experts (physicians, healthcare professionals, hospital managers and directors) from more than 20 countries who carried out surveys of assessment in the various specialties.

In the annual ranking of institutions (World's Best Hospitals ranking), the Clínica ranks 64th among the best hospitals in the world. It is also the only Spanish private hospital in the ranking that measures the leading hospitals in the use of smart technology (digital surgery, digital imaging, artificial intelligence, telemedicine and electronic medical records), according to the World's Best Smart Hospitals ranking.

It has recently been recognised as the Spanish private hospital with the best reputation for the seventh consecutive year in the Monitor de Reputación Sanitaria (MRS).
