The University of Navarra will hold the second edition of the Sports Management course between October and March. At modality online -except for the opening and closing sessions, which will be held in person-, the course aims, among other objectives, to promote the importance of sports as an economic engine, as well as to acquire strategic and leadership tools in the field of sports management .
The sessions will address some current issues such as the project of the European Super League, the agreement between La Liga and CVC, as well as other topics related to the eSports industry, change and social engagement through sport, as well as its link with commercial brands.
The first session will take place on October 15 at the El Sadar stadium, with a tour of the facilities at visit , with the participation of Fran Canal, Osasuna's general manager, director . Among other speakers, the course will include Julio Senn and Javier Ferrero, from Senn Ferrero Asociados Sports & Entertainment; Eusebio Unzué, manager of the Movistar Team cycling team; José Antonio Martín "Petón", CEO of Bahía Internacional; soccer coach Enrique Martín Monreal; and the head of press for Inter Miami CF of the MLS, Rafael Cabrera.
The course is aimed at students and university graduates, managers and directors of public and private sports entities, athletes of high performing, etc.
