A project to increase the rate of women accessing Education in Turkey.
Members of the Atatürk University visit the University on the occasion of its research
A group of six researchers from the School of Education of Atatürk University, Turkey, visited the School Education and Psychology to present a project funded by the European Commission graduate: 'Community Services: the Increase of Schooling Rate of Particularly Girls'.
The professors explained that, 'as they approach a certain age, women stop studying, either because they get married or because they have other responsibilities'. They also explained in detail the procedures and methodologies carried out to raise awareness and instill in this group the importance of continuing in their higher programs of study , and the employment opportunities to which they can access later.
This activity has also served as a social and cultural approach by the School to diverse realities. The researchers had the opportunity to transmit the current status situation in some parts of Turkey, and to share impressions with the members of the IPCC, group of research at Education, Citizenship and Characterpresent at the sessions.
