More than one hundred students from the School of Economics participated, on March 26th and 27th, in the "Social Innovation Summit. Mazingira". An activity organized by the students of the Leadership and Governance program of Degree of Economics (ELG) of the University of Navarra. This activity seeks that companies and experts meet to interact and share visions about the new challenges in subject of sustainability.

The name, which means 'ecosystem' in Swahili, responds to the students' desire to create an ecosystem in which different social actors can propose ideas to create a more sustainable world.

The event featured four different activities. In the first one, the MAZINGIRA Case Competition, 2nd year ELG students had the opportunity to solve a case of business and a social impact challenge , which have been presented to the judges, 5th year students of the same Degree.

In the second activity, the Make-a-thon, students from different Schools had the opportunity to solve a challenge posed by business Navarra MRA: the creation of a sustainable city that works with Economics circular. The students tackled different parts of the problem to create a joint solution.

Third, students were able to participate in the I I workshop of Sustainability in the business. An event that brought together national and international experts to address the challenges of sustainability in the business world.

Finally, the 'Inter-Action' activity brought together in the hall of Amigos Building eleven companies dedicated to the world of innovation and social impact: startup consultants, think tanks or social investment funds met to interact with students, sharing visions and experiences with them.
