The University stands out in the 2015 QS ranking in 8 subjects, 4 placed in the top 100.

Communication, Philosophy and two areas of Economics, among the 100 best in the world

The Schools of PhilosophyEconomics, Medicine, Biology and Pharmacy of the University of Navarra improve their positioning in one of the programs of study of reference letter in the world of university reputation: the 2015 QS Ranking by subject.

In this edition, the School of Philosophy, which climbs positions to be placed in the Top 100, and that of Economics, which with a double entrance in the ranking is placed among the 100 best places in the world to study Business Administration and Management, and Accounting and Finance, subject in which it is also placed as reference letter in Spain.

School Communication repeats in the Top 100, which has remained in this position since the first edition of the scale. Also improving their positioning are Pharmacy (from Top 200 to Top 150), Medicine, which for the first time appears in the ranking in the Top 250; and Biology, which also enters the ranking for the first time in the Top 350. The School Law is placed in the Top 150.

In this fourth edition of the QS World University Ranking by subject, 3,551 universities have been evaluated, of which 2,186 have been ranked. Of these, 894 place some of their programs of study among the 350 best in the world. Due to the progressive increase in the number of academic institutions evaluated, this 2015 edition has been expanded from the top 200 to the top 350 in some subjects.

The methodology used by this ranking takes into account aspects such as the quality and quantity of the research, academic quality and employability.

Improvement of 61 places in the global ranking

In the last absolute ranking published, the QS University Ranking 2014, the University of Navarra as a whole, not by subject, improved 61 places, and was ranked 254th among the best universities. In addition, it moved from sixth to fifth position in Spain, only surpassed by two public universities in Madrid and two other public universities in Barcelona.

The international ranking emphasizes that one of the "differentiating values" of the University is the "quality of the teaching, understood as the continuous training of the professors focused on offering students the best Education". It highlights that 86.6% of its professors have the Degree doctorate, and 13% of them have achieved this distinction in universities outside Spain.
