223 students from 41 countries are trained at the University thanks to the financial aid of the CARF Foundation.

A group of 35 benefactors of the Roman Academic Center Foundation (CARF) visited on Friday, May 26th the campus of Pamplona of the University. Along the workshop they cou ld know theSchools Ecclesiastical and the seminar International Bidasoa, where the seminarians and priests are formed to whom they provide financial aid economic for fill in its training. Throughout this academic year 2022/23, the CARF Foundation has allocated 2,106,689 euros in grants for accommodation and enrollment.

During the visit, in addition to greeting some of the students receiving this financial aid in person, they held a meeting the Dean theEcclesiastical School of Philosophy, Santiago Collado. On behalf of the three Schools , he thanked them for their financial aid reminded them of the vital work they do. Thanks to them, 223 students from 41 countries across five continents have been able to study this academic year. Also participating in the meeting were meeting Vice President Students, Rosalía Baena, and theassistant to the Vice President Students, Teresa Domingo.

During the session they were able to hear first hand the testimony of two students of the University who are being trained thanks to the financial aid provided by this foundation: Rolvin Capistramo, from Virac in the Philippines and student of the School of Canon Law; and Renel Prosper, from Fort Liberté in Haiti and student of the School of Theology. 

The CARF Foundation was born in 1989 under the impulse of Blessed Alvaro del Portillo, so that priests and seminarians from all over the world receive a solid theological, human and spiritual preparation in the Ecclesiastical Schools of the University of Navarra and the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome). Each year, more than 10,000 benefactors make this possible.
