The University of Navarra is developing an innovative study to analyze socioemotional competencies and the potential self-confidence gap between women and girls. The research is promoted by the network WINN of the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS), in which association Innovactoras participates, and the collection of data will take place in September and October.

The study is open to the university community (student body, academic staff and staff administration) and to professionals of innovation ecosystems (startups, companies...). The registration to collaborate can be done through this link.

The competency assessments will be carried out with Analizza.me, an artificial intelligence-based tool , and each participant will obtain an individual report on the spot.

"With a text of a thousand words in the natural language of a person we obtain personality assessments, needs, values and socioemotional skills, as well as theoretical predictions of entrepreneurship and volunteer activities", says María Cruz Díaz de Terán, coordinator of the network WINN of ICS.

Preliminary study on entrepreneurial mindset

From agreement with the researcher, the goal is to validate or invalidate the self-confidence gap that the team detected in a previous study on entrepreneurial mindset, conducted with a smaller sample based on a self-diagnosis. They aim to extend it to the Ibero-American population, with 1,200 samples, and to add this sociolinguistic analysis.

"We want to check if there are correlations with other personality variables that have an impact on this confidence," he adds. If the hypothesis is corroborated, the causes will be analyzed with the goal to develop interventions at a later date.
