The University of Navarra has organized a series of online meetings on topics of concern to SMEs in the region. The sessions, under the degree scroll "Show me the money!", are aimed at providing information on calls for grants, support tools, organizations and entities that can help them in matters related to obtaining financing, hence the degree scroll in English.

The next meetings will be held on Thursday, November 5 and 19 and will present the tax benefits for research and development+i activities and how to present a project to investors, respectively. They will be attended by committee European Innovation, the Ministry of Science and Innovation, the Government of Navarra, SODENA, core topic, Arpa Abogados Consultores, ASCRI and ENISA. The University of Navarra is part of the European Commission's network Enterprise Europe Network dedicated to support and advice on innovation and internationalization of companies and researchers in the region. Aware of the difficulties that companies in Navarra are going through at the moment, they decided to carry out a enquiry to find out how they could help the SMEs they advise at framework free of charge with the services financed by the European Commission. "We asked the companies what they needed, what topics they needed to learn about or what they would like to be trained in," says Sergio Pérez, manager of the network EEN at the University.

As result of these consultations and after having gathered information through visits and phone calls, they created this pathway de training. "The idea of the webinars is that they are agile and the information is concrete and useful, that is why each speaker intervenes a maximum of 15 minutes. There is a previous training of about 20 minutes where a specialist explains the concepts to be discussed and finally, attendees always have a question and answer session," says Mireia Carabantes, organizer of the training.

The first meeting, which was held on October 1, brought together around 70 people who were able to learn about the different aids that Navarre's SMEs can obtain when financing their Intellectual Property assets. It was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, representatives of the Navarre Regional Treasury and the European consortium of project "IP4A4SME".
