Sergio Clavero started a research stay at the University of Essex that will last three months (Colchester, UK 23/04-22/07/2019).

 

Ana Belén Martínez continues with his research stay at College London. In addition, he attended the workshop 'Welcoming acts for hostile times' organized by Queen Mary University of London (London, UK, 30/04/2019).

 

Creativity and Cultural Heritage
Anna Dulska attended as speaker guest at the First International Scientific congress 'Traditions and costoms in cultures and religions', organized by the Jewish Community Center Krakow and the Pontifical University of John Paul II. There she presented the discussion paper 'The material dimension of Sephardicrite' (Krakow, Poland, 11-12/04/2019).

Rafael Zafra traveled to Ecuador to conduct a field work and study some paintings within his research in the Locus subproject, (Quito and Cuenca, Ecuador, 8-11/04/2019).

 

Public discourse
Ruth Breeze offered the poster 'Main implications of teaching courses in English from the area of Operations in Degrees of Business Administration: the professors' point of view' at the X Workshop in Operations Management and Technology-ACEDEDOT OMTech 2019, organized by the Section of Operations Management and Technology (ACEDEDOT) of the association Científica de Economics y Dirección de Empresas (ACEDE) in partnership with the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de Albacete, at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, (Ciudad Real, 4-5/04/2019).

Sarali Gintsburg traveled to the island of Socotrato conduct work fieldwork with natives and record samples of transitional and oral literaturealongside the group of research of HSE Moscow. (Socotra, Yemen, 2-17/04/2019).

In addition, he attended the VII congress International of Moroccan Arabic 'Dynamics of change and new horizons', where he presented the oral communication 'In the vanguard of science? Or what an oral tradition can teach linguists (case study of oral poetry of the Jbala)'. (Madrid, 25-26/04/2019).

Inés Olza participated as guest speaker in the 'Globalized Terrorism' panel at the Horasis Global Meeting 2019 (Cascais and Estoril, Portugal, 6-9/04/2019).

 

Saqlain Hassan attended the 'International Conference on Theory, Method and Practice in Corpus Linguistics' held at Islamabad Air University of Pakistan, where he shared ideas and experiences with the attendees. At the same university, he attended as a representative of the University of Navarra to the Corpus Linguistics Summer School of the School of Social Sciences. (Islamabad, Pakistan, 22-27/04/2019).

Luis Ravina y David Soler attended the European Think Tank Summit 2019 co-organized by the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Programme of the University of Pennsylvania, the Real high school Elcano and Fundación Alternativas, (Madrid, 10-12/04/2019).

Carla Reigada attended the workshop'Self-compassion. Learning to love oneself fully', organized by the high school MAP. (Vitoria, 6-7/04/2019).

She also participated in the I congress Cuidados Paliativos do Alto Minho, organized by Associaçao Cuidados Paliativos do Alto Minho. There, she offered the discussion paper 'Intervenção do Assistente Social' and organized and moderated the roundtable 'Impacto dado ençaincurável e avançada na família e comunidade'.
