Students of the School, at international seminars in London, Frankfurt, Brussels and the USA.

During the month of May, a group group of students from the School in Economics participated in international seminars in London, Frankfurt, Brussels and the USA. The stays are part of the training plan of the diplomas and master's degrees, which for one or two weeks move the classes to cities and institutions of reference letter in each area.

Degree at Economics + International Economics and Finance

A group of seventeen students traveled to Brussels and Frankfurt to learn first-hand about the main European institutions. It was the first of the seminars held this year. Accompanied by professors Antonio Moreno and Juan Equiza Goñi , they were able to learn from the inside how European policy is made from the European Parliament, the European Commission, the committee or the European Central Bank.

Twenty-two fourth-year students travelled to London to participate in the Wicked Accelerator Program at Imperial College of London. The students learned the methodology of the business school and the school of design to analyse complex problems and propose innovative and creative solutions after mapping the whole system. In addition to attending lectures by Imperial professors, they were able to meet start-ups that had gone through the programme and talk to entrepreneurs in round tables and sessions.

Degree in Business Administration + Diploma in Finance and Accounting

Thirty students participated in a seminar on financial markets held at IESE's headquarters in New York (USA) with the support of the CFA Institute. They also spent a week meeting with companies such as Cowen, BlackRock, Fitz and New York Pension Plans, as well as round table discussions with alumni who are currently working at Morgan Stanley and Golman Sachs, among other companies. During their stay they were tutored by professors Mamen Aranda and Javier Arellano.

Master in Banking and Financial Regulation

23 students of the Master's Degree in Banking and Financial Regulation travelled to Brussels and Frankfurt as the finishing touch to their academic year. In Brussels they attended the European Banking Federation, where they participated in various workshops with members of the European Commission, the Single Resolution Board and the Permanent Representation of Spain to the European Union. In Frankfurt they attended various sessions at EIOPA and with members of the European Central Bank. They were accompanied by Germán López and Borja Goñi
