Dámaso Izquierdo, Ramón González and Carmen Llamas attended the XLIX Symposium of the Spanish Society of Linguistics (SEL) held at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. There, Izquierdo and González presented the paper 'Los modalizadores de opinión: función atenuante y variación genérica'. For his part, Llamas offered the discussion paper 'Spaniards, citizens, people.... To whom are the policies of the parties addressed in the electoral programs (2016-2019)'. Carlos Beltramo attended as speaker invited to the workshop Interdisciplinary on emotion of the Catholic University of Valencia San Vicente Mártir where he presented the session 'Emotional literacy as one of the axes of the Education of the character', (Valencia, 15/01/2020).

Carlos Centeno and Eduardo Garralda were invited speakers at the XII Breast Gynecological Immunological International Cancer Conference, organized by the Kasr Al-Ainy Center of Clinical Oncology & Nuclear Medicine. There, Centeno gave the session 'Under graduate palliative medicine education' and Garralda on 'Indicators of Palliative Care development'.
