The first Polish edition of the Code of Canon Law Annotated, by high school Martin de Azpilcueta of the University of Navarra, has been released. The editor of this edition was Piotr Majer, graduate and former professor teaching assistant of the School of Canon Law of campus.

The honorary committee is composed of Cardinal Zenon Grocholewski, Prefect of the Congregation for the Catholic Education ; Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz, Archbishop of Krakow; Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz, Archbishop of Warsaw; Cardinal Julián Herranz Casado, President Emeritus of the Pontifical committee for the Interpretation of Legislative Texts; Andrzej Dziega, Archbishop of Szczecin-Kamien; and Bishop Juan Ignacio Arrieta, Secretary of the Pontifical committee for the Interpretation of Legislative Texts.

Seventh edition at Spanish and second edition in English.

The 1,992-page book has been published by Wolters Kluwer, a multinational legal publishing house with a strong presence in Europe and the U.S. It is the first work on Canon Law to be marketed by Wolters Kluwer. 

Nearly 50 authors and contributors are involved in the Canon Law Code Annotated, which was first published in 1983. It is in its seventh edition at Spanish and the second in English, and has been published in numerous countries, including Spain, France, Portugal, Mexico, Italy and the USA.
